Definitly not or could we expect such API in a near
futur ?
Using DVD Jon hack is no way for me !
I have another solution in mind : create a kind of
Shoutcast server in the client software and use the
classic iTunes API to initiate a connection to it
(using the localhost interface) so iTunes 'thinks' to
be connected to a web radio. This suppose I can force
the speaker selection ...
Could it be a viable long-term solution ?
BTW, does iLife apps (i think of GarageBand ahead and
iMovie, iDVD) and/or DVD Player will support AirTunes
(at least if they don't want to give us access to the
API should they use this wonderful stuff !) ?

I've read OS X sound architecture uses a mixer that
can expends to an infinite number of virtual tracks
(one per app just like the BeOS mixer).
Is it possible to use DTS in a track and control each
channel independently (say 6 virtual channels for a
5.1 DTS mix plus a master slide for the overall DTS
level) ?
I know DTS is a licenced material but I am not aware
of any OpenSource multichannel format (Tell me if you
know :) )
Thanks Stefen,
Ionel
