So, one thing we are working on now is adding support for these API
into HAL Lab (an app that we ship as part of the SDK) We hope to make
this available in the not too distant future, so at least driver
writers will have something they can use to test their implementation
of these properties, which as Jeff says, have been available for
quite some time (both for Applications and Drivers)
