I don't use the spatialization features of 3DMixer. I've chosen
that mixer in order to use the pitch control for each input. I've
read in some old threads that using the 3DMixer for this consume
much less CPU than a normal mixer + lots of AUVariSpeed's :)
Yes - but make sure you have everything else in the 3DMixer turned
off (which you can do) - the AUMixer3DTest shows the various ways you
manipulate these (doppler, distance filtering, internal reverb, etc)
