Hi,
FWIW I've just had this on my first attempt to simply get a plug-in
compiling under Tiger - I've not done anything with fat binaries yet.
The fix suggested solved the problem for me too.
cheers,
os.

This is the same problem that Olivier described - somehow Rez is only
building the x86 resource. You need to do the following:
In the meantime, Doug's workaround is the way to address this (in
OTHER REZ FLAGS in the project settings define: -D
TARGET_REZ_MAC_PPC=1)
Just to be safe, I'd also define the x86 flag as well here!

Hey guys - good to meet you (some of you) at the lab yesterday!
In compiling my custom audio unit as a fat binary, I believe I've
done everything right, but something's gone awry.
The new AU I've compiled, when put into my app, now generates this
error message in the log:
===
NOTE: ignoring this component:
Discovered 0 component = 0x7c013d type = aumx subt = MIXR manu
= Ado\304 flags = 0
