Hello!!!

Power MacG5 and PowerBook17inch has a oprital digital input and output,
What kind of digital audio these port support?

According to apple's homepage,
stereo input and 5.1 output can be used,
but this is AC3? DTS?

If possible, I hope to use many channnel of input....
