Hi Agnus,

We have an AU which wants to be able to detect an offline bounce-down / mixdown and switch to higher quality algorithms etc. if so.

Has anybody used this stuff in practise? How well does it work in Logic, DP, etc.?
Logic should handle the offline property properly starting with version 7.0.1 - if it doesn't work as expected, please let me know.

As for GarageBand, that's supposed to work starting with version 2.0 - again please file reports if you find this not to be the case.

Neither Logic nor GB use the render quality property.

Best,
Stefan
