hi all,
I have read some docs that explains AUHAL can detects usb
devices
automatically if it is connected in host.
I have single USB 2.0 audio device with following specifications :
1)
Single input, 1 channel
2)
PCM
3)
16bits/resolutions
4)
32KHz
1. Can i use an AUHAL to access my USB audio device using Audio tool
box
API's?
2.Should USB driver supports my device if i will write a
code that talks to
an IOkit objects using AUHAL unit ?.
3. Is it
possible to send an audio frames which i am getting from USB audio
device
(via AUHAL) to Sequence grapper? if it is possible, Point me the API's
bcoz i didn't find any API's related on this.
This is USB 2.0
interface device as i said already.
4. Can AUHAL detects it from provided
audio IO kit driver?
Even if it is detected the USB 2.0 device, Could it
supports High speed?
5. If it
is not supported high speed ,Could i make any simple modification on
existing audio IO kit driver for
supporting High
speed?
is this a right way to modify the IO kit driver?
What my requirement
is just passing the frames from my usb2.0 device to My
application if it
calls the device.
Plz direct me the right path to achieve my goal.
