Render Callback not called, yet 100% cpu use

  • Subject: Render Callback not called, yet 100% cpu use

Hello.

I have run into an interesting problem. I have some code that gets audio input from various devices and seems to work find for several devices that I have tested it with, including a MOTU 828mkII. However, when I try to use an iSight, my Render Callback isn't getting called and CPU use is at 100%.

I checked it out with Shark and 78% of the time is spent in Resampler2:ConvertAltivec. Does anybody have any ideas why this is happening? I'm stumped.

The iSight is showing up properly in System Preferences. I'm running OS X 10.3.8 on Dual G5 2.5GHz.
