Since nobody else has replied to this:
there are errors in the SDK arising from the fact that it assumes a Tiger OS
(including some code which if activated would immeditately throw up an error
regarding a misplaced comma - i.e. never compiled, much less tested). This
problem was first reported late summer last year; around Xmas I was told
somewhat pointedly that many developers were on holiday; on 3rd Februay we were
told an update would be ready "in the next couple of weeks". Would be nice if it
was released before the Easter break!

Hi all,
I've just received a dual 2.5 G5. Nice machine but :(((
The machine was delivered with no developer tools installed (which is
usual). So I installed the full Xcode 1.5 release (without unchecking
Mac OS X SDK), and then installed QT 6.5.2 and CoreAudio SDK 1.3.4
above. In spite of this, I still get compilation errors when building
AudioFileTools. My other projects are compiling well but these errors
indicate that my actual CoreAudio headers are not fully up to date or
not fully consistent with the system.
I believe that I've followed the Technical QA1386 guidelines and I'm
therefore a little bit confused. Is there a solution? Should I uninstall
Xcode 1.5, then install full Xcode 1.2, and then Xcode 1.5 using the
"uncheck" trick? I assume that I need Mac OS X SDK installed on a fresh
system.
