Hi, I have been able to successfully create CAF and ADTS files
containing AAC
data using the AudioFile API. When using the exact same piece of code
to create
an mp4 file however, the resulting file is about 4MB larger! The
funny thing is that
it would create a file of say 6.5MB (which by the way plays fine in
QT player), but
when I open the file in QT player and type command-I, it would say
that the file contains
1.5MB of data. Creating a CAF or ADTS file with precisely the same
settings indeed
produces a 1.5MB file.
Does anybody have an idea of what's going on here? Is there some
obvious setting
that I could be missing? Thanks,
Martin
