We do have meta parameters - but not in this particular derivation of our
engine. The parameters in this case have no interdependencies that would
cause a parameter *value* to change, only the interpretation of that value.
So for example if the user switches the LFO sync parameter on, the
interpretation of the LFO rate parameter changes from Hz to bars. We would
send different value strings to the host in that instance, but the actual
value of the LFO rate parameter would not change when LFO sync changes.
