Why not just use the volume control built into the output unit (kHALOutputParam_Volume)?

Hi CA-API,

I’ve been looking at the ComplexPlayThru sample code, and I’m hoping to adapt this for my application. But I was wondering... What would be the recommended way to add a volume control to the output audio? By ‘volume control’ I just mean a way to set the volume (from 0 to full) via code. Should I just stick a stereo mixer in the graph, or is there a simpler way I could do it?

All the best,

Dave.
