SPBRecord won't record from two separate SI devices at the same time???

Hello,

I could use some help...

I need to be able to record two different audio sources from two different
sound input devices at the same time. For example, "Built In", and a
Digigram PCI card.

I am running OS 10.39 and QuickTime 7.

I wrote an app that did this in OS9 and I'm about 99% sure this used to work
in OSX, but now I can't seem to get it to work.

First, I open both si devices which works fine with no errors.

Next, I set up my two SPB parameter blocks. No problems...

The first call to SPBRecord using the first si device and parameter block
works just fine and returns no error and records audio...

But when I try to record from the second device at the same time as the
first, I get a -227 error (SI device busy).

The second device is not busy at the time and should record as well...

Again, this used to work just fine in OS9 and I thought I tested this in OSX
as well quite a while ago...

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance...

Bill Sanford
