AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer return codes

  • Subject: AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer return codes

Hi,

does anyone know what the return codes of AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer() actually mean? The only thing I found was:

Audio Converter Result Codes

These values are returned when errors occur.

kAudioConverterErr_FormatNotSupported = 'fmt?’

kAudioConverterErr_OperationNotSupported = 0x6F703F3F

kAudioConverterErr_PropertyNotSupported = 'prop'

kAudioConverterErr_InvalidInputSize = 'insz'

kAudioConverterErr_InvalidOutputSize = 'otsz'

kAudioConverterErr_UnspecifiedError = 'what'

kAudioConverterErr_BadPropertySizeError = '!siz'

kAudioConverterErr_RequiresPacketDescriptionsError = '!pkd’

I get an kAudioConverterErr_InvalidInputSize = 'insz' return code and I wonder if I fed the wrong data to AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer() or AudioConverterComplexInputDataProc(). My AudioConverterComplexInputDataProc() gets called, so I suspect it's in there.

any help appreciated,

Thanks
Ruotger
