We've made this offer in the past, but I thought it might be worth
reiterating this.
We have an example that illustrates how to allocate and render where
internally the AU is dealing with some configurable number of
channels, and the configuration of these into AU input and outputs
are handled using the Dynamic I/O Config semantics.
We are looking at a further example that will build on this idea, but
will be crafted within the context of the AUInstrumentBase classes
we've recently added to the SDK. But that is not quite ready at this
time.
The example we do have is provided *without real support*! That is,
you get the code, and you basically figure it out (but it really is
not that hard!) We've distributed this to a number of people in the
past and they've found this both helpful and useful. So, if you would
