This resembles a crash I have seen elsewhere. What are the other
threads in the process up to?

Hi, I have an intermittent problem (crash) with Cubase SX and my
audio kext.
It seems to occur when the client checks for a particular property
in one of
my streams. Unfortunately, it is not apparent from the stack which
property
is causing the issue. It does not always occur, but occurs most
frequently
when the sample rate of a cubase project forces a sample rate
change in the
kext (via performFormatChange(), etc). The sample rate change is
always
accomplished by the kext, but a crash sometimes occurs thereafter.
I'm looking to see which properties my stream supports, and how
they might
differ wrt to say the onboard sound example. Could any suggest the
best way
of approaching this problem? The faulting stack is shown below.
In fact
this time it was generated by letting a plugin play over a period
of time,
but it has an identical stack to the crash provoked by Cubase
changing the
project sample rate.
