ExtAudioFile question

Hi,

I'm using an the ExtAudioFile API - I create a new file, add to it, the file grows, but I can't figure out how to read the data from the file without calling ExtAudioFileDispose first. Is the ExtAudioFile API just designed for converting an already existing file and that's it? It so, are there any plans to add some calls to be able to work with a newly recorded file without having to dispose of it and then recreate it again everytime data is added to it? Or am I just missing something?

Thanks.
