If no: How do I define whether a parameter is automateable / non- automateable? (by automateable I also mean whether it can be controlled by an external controller)
Also (if no), how do I make a parameter which is not a float?

Well, my reasoning is that if there's no such thing as a chunk, then I would need to add it as non-automateable parameters. Sort of a hack though.

I still don't get it...


It's not really important, because it turns out there are chunks (or close enough) in AU.

However, if such a (chunk) system were not present, then I would have had to add extra parameters, and spread the chunk data across these parameters (think: Hack).
However, doing this I would need to be sure that those "bogus" parameters didn't show up in any parameter list that the user sees, i.e. they musn't be automateable.


I hope this makes sense.
