This is getting silly. I can't even begin a discussion on possible
solutions to your dilemma unless you have the technical background to
understand and implement any advice I might give. How can we discuss
the usage of mutexes, semaphores and predicates, when you don't know
what a mutex, semaphore, or predicate is?
I'm studying up on it... please have patience with me. I wasn't
expecting I would have to be a multi-processing
expert just to port something that SHOULD work. I've ordered 3 new
books to add to my bookshelf, should get them in few days from Amazon.
It is way beyond the scope of this mailing list to teach the basics
in parallel programming.
I totally agree, and is not what I'm asking...
I don't really seen any point in continuing this discussion until you
have some actual, specific technical questions that pertain to audio
on OS X.
Like I mentioned, I would be happy to provide stack crawls from each
thread as soon as I can
setup my hardware later this evening, and post them to the list. I
don't have any problem sending
source code (individually) for anyone who cares to look at the code.
