Small edit, it's http://jackosx.com

(though now that I think of it, we really ought to change it to .org!)

You should look at http://jackosx.org. It's open source and allows routing from any coreaudio app to any jack or other coreaudio app.

Hi everyone,

I am very new to CoreAudio, but would like to know where I should start looking, in order to learn how to capture audio from some specific application (iTunes, GarageBand, Logic, etc). Somewhat like Rouge Amoeba's Detour product.

My end goal is to let me capture and mix various audio streams, into a QuickTime movie using the sequence grabber. I know this list has nothing to do with QT (etc), just wanted to give some context as to why I was asking the question above.
