AUConverter Mono -> Stereo

I currently have an AUConverter that I fill with data on the fly (streaming). The AUConverter is connected to a stereo mixer (so that I can multiple sources playing) and then output. The problem I'm having right now is that if I give mono data to the AUConverter it will convert it to stereo, but only on the left channel. Is there a way to have the AUConverter push the data out to both channels?

Is there a different approach I should take to playing mono audio?
