Hi all,

      I am using the following function to convert a mp3 file to raw aif format
        err = ConvertMovieToFile(myFile,  nil,  &tgt, kQTFileTypeAIFF, FOUR_CHAR_CODE('TVOD'), smSystemScript,  nil,    0L,    nil);

this takes 18-20 seconds to convert a file of 5-6 mins file.

is there any other method to convert mp3 file or m4a file to raw aif.
(i want the same output file format.)

i want to take the raw PCM value from the file. is there any other method to take whole raw value from a audio file in less than 3 seconds.

        please give me, if there any sample codes.

                Thanking you in advance
