Ethernet MIDI in Tiger

  • Subject: Ethernet MIDI in Tiger

Hello,

Tiger includes the new feature to send MIDI over a network connection to another Mac. Does anyone know where the details of the protocol (i.e. byte order, TCP or UDP ports used , encapsulation of messages, timing information etc) can be found in the documentation? I'm not sure where to begin looking in the reference manuals.

Thanks

Joel
