- Thread-topic: Recognizing iSight as audio input device?
I guess it's unclear to me why it is failing; none of my error checks
are returning an error. The same thing happens if I run ComplexPlayThru
and select the iSight as the input device. The only audio I get is a
slight humming noise.
With my application: I have a telex usb microphone that if I plug it in
and go to the sound system preference and select it under "choose a
device for sound input", my application will record audio from the
microphone. If I do the same thing with the iSight device I don't get
any audio, I guess I'm wondering why that is failing.
Thanks,
-Stephen
It's hard to tell what's going on from that code snippet. All it does is
open a component. What exactly is failing?
