Hello,

I am looking for a document that really explains how to build an AU instrument. I have read the CoreAudio API, the "Turning Up the Volume with Audio Units" paper, the source code for MusicDeviceBase, etc. I started with the small SinSinth example, which was crucial.

I cannot find a good overall description of writing AU Instruments. Please let me know if I have overlooked some great document that explains it all.

I found a set of descriptions for functions like AudioUnitInitialize(). But I am using the MusicDeviceBase class that is not well documented. Should I be using a lower level API instead?
