Hello list,

I've just been playing with the AUMixer3dTest sample. As has been previously noted on this list, there is obviously something a little awry with the UI in this sample.

As supplied in the CA SDK 1.4.3, the application builds and runs with an error about control embedding. The suggestion on this list to change the custom control in the "Window" window to a group box removes this runtime error but doesn't change the behaviour of the application.

What I'm curious about is the extensive code in the AUEditWindow class to handle level metering and control / parameter updates that seems to be unutilized in the sample. Is this simply vestigal code or is there some other step required to make the sample work as originally intended?
