Have you checked the console log for printf output?

Subject: debugging HALPlugins and FireLog
Hi all-
I have been working on a HALPlugin derived from reference code, which
uses printf statements for debugging. I can't seem to find where these
are being output, so I have tried several other methods of debugging,
e.g., syslog, to know avail. Finally, I am trying FireLog, which has
been very useful for my kernel components, but I cannot seem to get
FireLog to link into my HALPlugin, constantly getting one error or
another, most recently "can't locate frameowkr for -framework FireLog"
despite it being in the frameworks section of my Xcode project.
Any ideas on how to get FireLog to work, or another technique that can
produce debug output from a HALPlugin?
Thanks in advance!
