There are a number of changes in CoreAudio pieces in 10.4.7, and I
thought it might be useful to list these:
(1) Several fixes to AUFilter, AUSampleDelay, AUFilePlayer
(2) MP3 file parsing fixes
- we've fixed all of the known issues with MP3 files that have been
reported to us on this list.
(3) OpenAL 1.1
- includes both support for the full 1.1 API, as well as some custom
extensions as requested by various developers (reverb, occlusion,
obstruction are probably the most notable)
(4) AUMatrixReverb has some additional parameters for a Parametric
EQ. Presets saved with this version of the reverb are NOT compatible
with previous ones, but existing presets are compatible (and will
sound the same as previously)
(5) Fixes to MusicSequence
