This is more a question for the USB dev list ( email@hidden ) :)
You can find answers to that question by looking at the /Developer/
Examples/IOKit/usb/ folder. The "RawDeviceAdded" function in ezloader/
main.c contains code to do that
(IOUSBDeviceInterface::GetDeviceVendor/Product).
