I've just started experimenting with universal binary builds of one of our
AUs. We don't yet have an Intel mac, so we have been getting the client to
test on his own personal Intel Mac mini.
So far it seems that our AU UB isn't detected by Garageband 3 on the
client's Intel Mac, but it works perfectly on the all the PPC macs we tested
and passes auval in Logic 7.2.
What I'd like to do is get a little more information from the client, but
without over-burdening him with installing lots of software etc. Using Auval
seems to be the way to go as its pretty lightweight, but does anyone know if
an auval universal binary is present in the factory Tiger install (ie Tiger
+ iLife, no developer tools or other apps)?
Failing that, is the download here Universal Binary?
