Hi. I've tried to record .mp3 file changing AudioStreamBasicDescription and AudioFileType in the RecordAudioToFile example, but it doesn't work. The application creates .mp3 file , but doesn't write anything in it. What do i have to change to be able to recod valid .mp3 file.

Mac OS X doesn't ship with an MP3 encoder (which you will likely discover is basically what the errors being returned to you say). So unless you install one, you will not be able to export directly to MP3.

Failure is not an option. It is a privilege reserved for those who try.
