CoreAudioKit Linking Issues

  • Subject: CoreAudioKit Linking Issues

Hi,

I am linking a Cocoa project to CoreAudioKit. I am confused about how it is linking. If I build the project for Mac OS 10.4 everything links as usual. However, if I link with 10.3.9 project build things get unusual. In Xcode, I cannot build if I add the CoreAudioKit framework without copying the framework to my project folder and I can build the 10.3.9 project if I copy the framework to my project folder when I add the framework.

The big issue I face is deployment. If I deploy a 10.3.9 build with CoreAudioKit, what will happen on a hard disk running 10.3.9? Oddly, there looks like a executable in the CoreAudioKit framework when I copy to my project folder.
