Workaround note for this bug: if you wait 250 mS and _then_ enable
metering, everything is OK. If you wait less time than that (e.g.,
100 mS) it still crashes. I have now implemented this work around in
my code to solve the problem for now.
More fun with metering and the Stereo Mixer...
AUGraph Looks like this:
AUHAL Live Input -> Low Pass Filter -> Stereo Mixer (1 bus) -> Output
With metering off, all is well. Turn metering on, however, and this
patch crashes consistently.
I've made a slight modification of ComplexPlayThru which exhibits
this problem -- interested parties may download from
