How to get MIDI data

Hi! I am still new to Core Audio. I wrote a simple app that generates
some random notes, adds them to a track/sequence, and then plays the
sequence. Now, how can I make another app that will take data from a
MIDI keyboard, and play it. (Please make it as simple as possible).
