Hi List,

I'm working on an Intel machine trying to export (or render) wav files from my application. I use the kAudioFormatFlagsNativeEndian ASBD flag to achieve the export, which works successfully .... on Intel, but it fails on PPC.
Is there an explicit kAudioFormatFlagsLittleEndian or equivalent flag that I can use on PPC machines?

thanks in advance,

Frank

The lack of any flag indicates little endian. I agree that it might be nice to have a defined flag so you may want to file an enhancement request at http://bugreporter.apple.com.
