So you have a proprietary audio file format for which you want to
implement support as an audio file component? Have I got that right?
And you also want QuickTime to import your file format as a qt movie?
QuickTime does import certain audio file formats using the Core Audio
AudioFile API, but unfortunately, that support is currently limited to
CAF, AAC, and ADTS files.
So currently, you'll have to write a qt eat component if you want qt
to recognize your file format.

Hi,
I am trying to add some audio support into Quicktime 7. I have
started with the RawAudioFileComponent from Core Audio SDK. As it
works fine with AudioFileTools, it does not seem to be working with
Quicktime Player. Should I write some kind of bridge between the AFC
and Quicktime ? Or Quicktime simply does not support AFC and I have
to write a standart "eat" component ?
Thanks in advance
