I for one wouldn't rely on Carbon too much, from what I hear this API
will be discontinued in the years to come...
You could wrap the Cocoa calls in a C++ class and call them from
there, but since Objective C is so easy to learn (especially when you
have a C++ background) I doubt that it is worth the effort.
Look for introductory books by Aaron Hillegass, they're quite good.
