Hi Alex,
thanx 4 ur answer!
Althought it's a litte OT - how did you get your experience with Cocoa,
or especially Objective-C? Is there a good introduction for C++ -
Programmers available? Some weeks before, I had a look at an
Wikipedia-Introduction (AFAIR), but it seemed to me, that it takes a lot
more than half a day to get familar with Objective-C ...
Oh, one disadvantage using Cocoa was the missing support of Cocoa-AUs in
Logic, AFAIR.
My AUs should be executable in Logic ...
Or are Cocoa-AUs supported in the actual Logic Version (7.2.3)?

write a C++ wrapper of some sorts and use that
* If you know C++, you can learn all the Objective-C you need in an
afternoon. Understanding the Cocoa Framework will take the larger
part of your time
* If you are new to the Mac, Cocoa/Obejective-C will definitely be
the easier thing to learn. I used to write Carbon UIs back when it
was not even called "Carbon", and I am very happy I don't have to do
that anymore

Hi,
is it possible writing Cocoa UIs using C++?
Because I'm not familiar with Objective-C, for me it's much more
efficient to write the whole AU in C++ - Audio-Algorithm AND UI.
Ist this possible, or do I have to learn Objective-C?
Or an other question: is there a disadvantage writing UIs in Carbon,
especially regarding the compatibility with 64 bits in Leopard ...
TNX in advance,
Udo
