We don't provide an MP3 encoder, so you can't write MP3 files (because we have no way to encode to MP3). However, the file parser is fine. You can I think, get an MP3 encoder that is compatible with Tiger from the LAME code base. Once you have installed this, you should be able to use this API (as you do now for MP4 files) and be able to write an MP3 file
