This isn't really the right forum to post this to, but I can't find an
answer anywhere on what is going on here.

I have a MacBook (last gen core 2 duo 2Ghz). A couple of days ago, I went
to adjust my volume and discovered my internal speakers are no longer
existing, and I now have a red-optical glow from my headphone jack.
If I plugin headphones, that works fine, but then when I switch them out,
it goes back to being an optical output.

Any way to change this in AudioMidiSetup or something? I haven't found
anything. It seems this is a useful feature, if I could control it!

Thanks,

-Kevin
