hello Chris,
welcome to the AU plugin world. :)
your 'thng' resource doesn't have the entry for Intel.
"OTHER_REZ_FLAGS -d ppc_$ppc -d i386_$i386" should generate the
correct 'thng' but maybe it's defined in a wrong target or something.
I'll note for the benefit of anyone else wrestling with this sort of
thing and searching archives for answers, that
-the AUs would not build universal because I had put that REZ_FLAGS
tag in the project file settings, and not in the target at all
-it then still would not build, and it turned out I'd had a specific
configuration selected and was actually building another configuration.
When I put OTHER_REZ_FLAGS -d ppc_$ppc -d i386_$i386 in the settings
for the target, with 'all configurations' selected- that was the
correct way to do it.
If anyone else in future gets puzzled over setting Rez flags in the
project file (not the target) or has the wrong configuration selected
and is making build setting changes for another one, I hope this
comes in handy.
Me, I'm just happy because I'm that new to XCode that I was doing
everything with development builds- and now my convolution plugins
are built in deployment mode, and are about four times faster :)
