You can't really control the settings of the audio hardware using the
Audio Units. You just use these to get (or give) audio data from (or
to) an audio device.
If there are properties that you want to change in the audio hardware
itself, then you need to look at <CoreAudio/AudioHardware.h>

Need I set some attribute to make the Audio Unit use SPDIF output?
I search the Audio Unit framework, can't find any information about
SPDIF, only IOkit have "kIOAudioOututPortSubTypeSPDIF" about the
SPDIF, how make Audio Unit use SPDIF output, if it’s automatic?
my Audio playback is follow apple's Technical Note TN2097
