I am authoring some effects that I believe people will want to use

know an easy way to do this? Has someone written a free or commercial
solution to this problem? Is this even relevant as more and more
modern apps support Audio Units? (I know Audio Units are not yet De

It's pretty close to de facto. It's really just Cubase/Nuendo that's
the hold-out at this point. Whereas there are at least a dozen AU-
only apps. So VST for Mac at this point is essentially a special
case for Cubendo, and RTAS is a special case for Pro Tools. AU
covers everything else.
