Pause Graph with Looping Sound File Player?

  • Subject: Pause Graph with Looping Sound File Player?

Hi All,

I have the following Audio Unit Graph:

Sound File Player -> Default Output Unit

I run the graph, sound is playing all good.

Then I call AUGraphStop to pause the graph; some seconds later, I call AUGraphStart. When I do this, the Sound File Player doesn't pick up where it left off. Instead, there is a long silence in the sound. (Though it seems to be shorter if I pause for a shorter time.)

Probably there is something going on here with timestamps or something. But I can't seem to figure it out. Do I need to notify the Sound File Player that it has been paused???

Best,
Mark
