Passing data to my CocoaView efficiently

Hi

I have a growing number of statistical value, that I want to visualize in my AudioUnit's Cocoa View.

From reading the documentation it seems, that properties are not the way to pass real time information between a view and it's AudioUnit. The use of AudioUnitGetParameter to pass a mix of floating point and non floating point values - and a lot of them - appears to be fairly clumsy.

Should I nevertheless try to use AudioUnitGetProperty ?

Ciao
   Nat!

All respect to Petrucci for technical proficiency -
but that's like being able to type really fast.
Mick Mars writes a much better book.
