Hi,

It is my understanding that the USB Audio Class drivers shipped
with Tiger support USB Audio Class Spec. 1.0.
That seems to be correct.
The USB Audio Class Spec 2.0 has been out for quite some time now
(the date on the final spec is May 2006).
Does anybody have information on when USB Audio driver will be
updated for this spec.? Will Leopard support Audio Class Spec 2.0
devices out of the box?
Unfortunately, all developer seeds I could get my hands on still lack
this feature.
Furthermore, the USB prober (v3.00) does not even recognize Audio2.0
compliant USB descriptors but parses balderdash instead, just like
the versions shipping with Tiger do.
Is it going to be a fully class compliant driver?
I'm also curious and would like to hear a statement from Apple about
this.
And one more thing: from looking into the AppleUSBAudio driver, I got
the idea that isochronous implicit feedback data endpoints are
somehow unimplemented - is that true?
Best regards,
Daniel
