You are absolutely right. That's what I get for replying before I've had
my coffee. The host controls the window, and most likely already has a
delegate for the window. It would be very bad to set yourself as the
window's delegate.
However, you could listen for the NSWindowDidBecomeKeyNotification
on the window. That should do the trick.
