PS: I filed bug reports for both issues, 5571855 for the crashes
and 5571703 for the -6
Just heard back from Apple - apparently both bugs are known bugs and
filed under 5192100.
I really hope you guys at Apple have a chance to fix this soon, now
that 10.5.1 and 10.4.11 are out.
This probably has little to do with the engineering side of things,
but IMHO opinion it's a little embarrassing to sell "DRM-free" music
that cannot be decoded with your own audio library. In the end,
that's just another way to manage digital rights.
