Strange loading problem with an AudioUnit

  • Subject: Strange loading problem with an AudioUnit

Hi,

We have an AudioUnit that fails to load (does not appear in AU list for AU aware clients). Starting from the *same* project;

- when compiled on a Mac Pro Intel 10.4.11 to produce an Universal Binary, the resulting AU loads on a Mac Pro Intel 10.4.11 and Mac Pro Intel 10.5.1 but *not* on a G5 10.4.11

- when compiled on the Mac G5 10.4.11 to produce an Universal Binary, the resulting AU does not load on a Mac Pro Intel 10.4.1, does not load on a Mac Pro Intel 10.5.1 but now loads on a G5 10.4.11

What could be the problem?

Thanks

Stephane Letz
