Excellent. Thanks!
Do you test w/ the Oxford 971 part? We've had problems with that part
since 10.4.10 and now Leopard.

Is it possible to get a list of the Firewire audio devices that

We try to have at least one of every device supported by the driver.
We are just curious. We company I work for currently uses Oxford
Semi. chips in some of its designs, but we'd be interested in
possibly finding other solutions and would like to make a 'popular'
choice.
There are 5 main FireWire audio solutions you can use for FireWire
audio; bridgeCo ,TC Electronics, Oxford Semi, Echo Audio and Texas
Instruments.
bridgeCo has been selling an AVC compliant solution the longest of
all the above and their parts are in a large percentage of products
(both AVC compliant and custom driver solution). TC Electronic's
Dice family of chips are becoming popular, but need their own driver
at the moment. (though they are likely to have AVC firmware support
soon) Oxford Semi part is based on their long history of FireWIre
storage product expertise. Echo audio solution is based of the Ti
FireWIre audio chip and it is paired with a DSP chip to achieve some
impressive throughput. Texas Instrument chip is a simple 2 to 6
channel audio chip meant for the home AVR market. But is does have
the ability to run in a pass through mode that you can deal with the
packets yourself.
Hope this helps,
Matt
